IOT ARCHITECTURE FOR AGRICULTURE APPLICATIONS: A FORMAL ASSESMENT

We are into the era where each individual, each device and each object is getting connected through the magical technology called “The Internet of things” on a scale that is inconceivable and it has turned out to be the popular innovation in the present situation. IoT empowers us to detect the physical medium to get to the information and transmit it by using the proper communication technology by interconnecting the detecting medium and the applications. IoT has numerous applications in every domain. Agriculture is one such domain. In this paper, we will look at farming applications from an IoT point of view and how fundamentally the impact of IoT can change the manner in which we do farming. Before structuring any of the IoT applications, it is especially required to have a short comprehension of the compositional perspective on the IoT architecture. In this paper, we have tried to explain diverse IoT architectures. Then towards the end, we have discussed an architecture that is appropriate unique for agriculture. We have, likewise, examined the interfacing technologies, challenges and applications for agricultureas considered from the IoT perspective.

The importance of economic reforms in the modernization and development of the livestock sector

A STUDY ON EMPLOYEE SATISFACTION OF FRUIT PROCESSING INDUSTRIES IN KRISHNAGIRI DISTRICT

The fruit processing industry plays an important role in Krishnagiri district. Krishnagiri
district is mostly associated with agriculture and consists mostly of fruit growers. Hence this
study emphasizes on evaluating the job satisfaction of the employees who contribute to the
progress of the fruit processing Industry. Job satisfaction occurs when an employee has job
stability, career development and a comfortable work life balance. It refers to the employee's
job satisfaction as the job meets the individual's expectations. This study focuses on the
employee satisfaction of fruit processing industry in Krishnagiri district. The sample size
consists of a total of 55 employees from 5 companies of Paiyur. Paiyur have highest number
of fruit processing companies. Primary information has been collected from the fruit
processing industry divisions in Krishnagiri district. Statistical tools used were percentage
analysis, Chi-square analysis and ANOVA.

Development of innovative import substitution in the agro-industrial complex as a key factor in overcoming interregional differentiation and depression of agrarian-oriented and highly subsidized North Caucasian republics

The growth of globalization processes, the aggravation of competition and the protracted economic and technological sanctions against the Russian Federation have necessitated adjusting the strategic goals that are being addressed within the context of import substitution. The Russian policy of import substitution in the agricultural sector should be implemented on the basis of large-scale technological modernization of agro-industrial production, the systematic use of innovations at all stages of the production cycle and the creation of conditions for diversification of production. The practice of implementing the strategy of import substitution in the Russian agrarian economy over the past five years has already made it possible to form a stable trend of growth in production of certain types of agricultural products. At the same time, the competitiveness of Russian agricultural products is still quite low due to the low productivity of agricultural machinery, backwardness of selection and genetic engineering, the lack of domestic seeds, etc. No less relevant limiting factor is the lack of an integral concept of innovative import substitution, the imperfection of tools for neutralizing and squeezing out imports by business entities. In these conditions, in our opinion, it is necessary to direct the entire natural resource and scientific and technical potential of the national economy to import substitution, because under current conditions there is no other way to ensure the economic and food security of the Russian Federation. The study of the morphogenesis of the process under consideration made it possible to establish that the features of building and implementation of the import substitution policy in the conditions of an innovation-oriented economy have not yet been analysed; the specific advantages and weak links of import substitution strategies have not been identified. There is still no single interpretation of the main categories; the possibilities and limitations of implementation of import substitution policy in the context of the need to increase the level of innovative activity have not been substantiated. All this, of course, requires the immediate development of theoretical and methodological approaches to the content of the strategy and tools for import substitution, taking into account the peculiarities of the Russian agrarian economy, all this determined the choice of our research topic.

Methodological bases for assessing the level of innovative development of agriculture and its service infrastructure activities

The article examines methods for assessing the level of innovative development of agriculture and its ervice infrastructure sectors. In the process of development, the innovative development of the infrastructure that serves it is scientifically justified. Uzbekistan has developed a conceptual model for the formation and development of innovative infrastructure in the agricultural sector, taking into account the conditions and factors of innovation policy. The effectiveness of innovative infrastructure in agriculture is considered in terms of strategic, economic, and social effectiveness, from the point of view of state and territorial authorities, economic entities in agriculture, and entities receiving innovative infrastructure. The methodology for determining the impact of innovative development of agriculture and its service infrastructure on efficiency has also been improved.

Forecasting innovative development of infrastructure providing services to agriculture

The article is devoted to the analysis of the innovative development of agriculture and its infrastructure services through mathematical materials and the development of prospects.The results of the multifactor econometric model were developed using statistical data and Eviews software. According to the results of the obtained econometric model, the influence of factors on changes in the volume of infrastructure services provided to agriculture was determined. Also, on the basis of the developed trend models, the forecast parameters of the volume of agricultural infrastructure services, gross agricultural output, the number of machine-tractor parks and zoo-veterinary stations until 2023 were determined.

Modern Paradigm of Rural Public Management: The Case of Ukraine

Effective public management is a guarantee for ensuring stable long-term rural development in Ukraine. The aim of this research is to develop a set of directions for improving the efficiency of public management of Ukrainian rural areas based on the assessment of their development, identification of problems of rural management and learning from the experience of the European Union. The following methods are used: quantitative analysis of statistical data on the socio-economic development of Ukrainian rural areas and agriculture in Ukraine for the time period of ten years using one-dimensional statistical methods (UT) based on dependent, representative, and probabilistic sampling; comparative assessment of public management and state administration by means of literary review; “goal tree”, SMART-technology and analytical form of Boolean algebra logical function used for forming a goal hierarchy by every subject of rural public management in Ukraine, as well as achieving the common general goal of PM in Ukrainian rural areas; formation of an integral indicator for assessing the quality of rural public management within the framework of the developed assessment methodology; quantitative identification of consumers’ key requirements regarding services of state and municipal government institutions in the framework of effective rural public management based on the use of panel data. This article reveals trends and problems of rural public management in Ukraine and concludes that it is necessary to improve the efficiency of such management, for which a set of optimization measures is being developed.
