TRAVELERS SATISFACTION AT COVID19 QUARANTINE CENTERS IN SAUDI ARABIA

Abstract
Background: Due to global pandemic Covid 19 the tourism industry is badly affected. The freemovements of the travelers are restricted due to the high potential of the virus to spread.
Travelers visiting Saudi Arabia kingdom has to spend 14 days in quarantine as per the guidelines
from WHO to stop spreading of the infection. Several hotels and other centers were converted to
quarantine centers for travelers visiting the kingdom from overseas. This research explores the
satisfaction index among the travelers who are quarantined in the different quarantine centers of
Saudi Arabia.
Methods: This study reviews the literature about different guidelines to comply with the
requirements of quarantine centers. A critical examination model and explanatory research
design is used with the statistical conclusion to understand quarantine centers and service
provided. The main objective of this research is to endorse, various factors associated with the
quarantine services and its impact on travelers‟ satisfaction.
Results: The research results show that the effectiveness of services in the quarantine centers
and its significant impact upon the satisfaction level of the tourist.
Implication: The study will help to understand travelers‟ satisfaction index, staying at
quarantine centers.
Conclusion: Travelers are satisfied while staying in the quarantine centers.
