The entire earth is resonant with the smouldering catchphrases and issues such as: ‘Navigating De-globalization!’, ‘the death of globalization’, ‘Downhill from peak Globalization: When will it end?’ and ‘De-globalization in the hyper-connected worlds?’. This is quite evident question of the current scenario. ‘Mending Walls’ is a famous poem composed by Robert Frost in the year 1914 where he cited, “Before I build a wall I’d ask to know/What I was walling in or walling out.” [3]Looking at the grave situation of COVID 19 it’s walling out ‘others’ sticking to a narcissistic (egocentric) approach which is ‘patriotism’. At this critical juncture, a perennial question which radiates from everybody’s heart: Will we start our expedition ‘Back to Nature’? [67] Will this contagion inspire us to opt for small community survival considering it as a luminary?

Training Programmes and Success of Agri Clinics and Agri Business Centres (Acabcs) In Karnataka – An Evaluation

Agriculture Sector is contributing 16.5%to the GDP of the country and has enclosed more than 50% workforce are still engaged in agriculture and allied activities. (Economic survey 2019-20)Though higher workforce is involved, they are not self-reliable to earn their livelihood and it is indispensable to rethink the shift of agricultural sector. In this scenario Agri entrepreneurship or farm entrepreneurship apparently benefits the small-scale farmers to be self-reliable and independent. The National Institute for Management of Agricultural Extension (MANAGE) has classified 32 activities of agribusiness all over India (as on 5th February 2021) covering horticulture, floriculture, sericulture, dairy farming, poultry, agri clinics and agribusiness centres. Agri Clinics and Agri Business Centres (ACABCS) in the post globalization era have emerged as an important commercial activity in agriculture and Agribusiness undertakings formed by trained agriculturists. Such business may include sale of inputs, maintenance and custom hiring of farm equipment with other facilities in agriculture and allied areas as well as market linkages for revenue generation, post-harvest administration and entrepreneurial progress. Nodal Training institutes are contributing significantly for the development and growth of ACABCs. With this background, the study is undertaken at with an objective of examining the relationship of training programmes and the success of ACABCs in Karnataka. Sixty (29 Trained and 31 untrained) sample Agripreneurs drawn from Bengaluru urban and rural districtswere contacted with a structured questionnaire to understand their business growth and success level with the help of various parameters. Hypothesis testing was done with the help of Chi square test. For analysis simple percentage technique was applied. It has also come out with few findings and suggestions.

WORK FROM HOME IMPROVES OR IMPAIRS THE WORK-LIFE BALANCE- A STUDY CONDUCTED AMONG TEACHERS

In recent years, there has been increasing focus about how to adjust work and life responsibilities in both scholastic and political discussions. Work from home is one activity that has been advanced as a method of improving the work–life balance [1]. Considering this evidence this paper examines the work-life balance experiences of teachers who are working from home during the outbreak of Covid-19. Using the data from 72 teachers selected randomly from different educational institutions of Kerala, it explores the question of whether working (or not) from home improves or impairs teacher’s capacity to balance their work and life commitments. A Snowball sampling method is adopted for identifying respondents and Chi-square test is used for finding out the variable relationships. The outcomes of the study specify that working from home has a constructive impact on teacher’s work life Balance. In addition, the result also confirms that working from home certainly increases enthusiasm and satisfaction as teachers are getting more time to spend with their family. It is also found that the use of Information Technology tools in managing the life chores has a significant relationship with Work Life Balance

Revealing the Effect of Work-From-Home on Job Performance during the Covid-19 Crisis: Empirical Evidence from Indonesia

This study aims to determine the effect of work-from-home on job performance. It proposes work environment, job satisfaction and work motivation as mediating variables, and answers how work-from-home affects employee performance through them. The study has implications for business practitioner who intend to measure the effectiveness of their work-from-home policies. This is especially pertinent during the coronavirus crisis. The original contribution of this study lies within its questionnaire that has been attuned to changes caused by COVID-19. Data collection was completed by distributing an online questionnaire to workers in Indonesia. The questionnaire with a Likert scale was sent to approximately 2720 employees by email and a link was also shared on social media. The survey attracted 330 respondents. To answer the research questions, this study used structural equation modelling. The output revealed that working from home, employees experienced greater enjoyment, satisfaction and motivation thus enhancing job performance. While the validity of this research is constrained in scope to how these benefits are manifested in Indonesia, there may be external validity among other countries affected by COVID-19.

Investigating the relationship between competitive intelligence and risk dimensions and job performance of employees in Kerman Saderat bank branches

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between competitive
intelligence and risk-taking with the employees' job performance in Kerman Saderat bank
branches in 2015. The method of study was descriptive and correlation. The statistical population
of this study included all 251 employees of Saderat Bank in Kerman that by using Cochran
formula a sample size of 152 people was selected. In this study, three questionnaires of
competitive intelligence with 0.91 validity and 0.93 reliability and risk taking questionnaire with
0.93 validity and 0.95 reliability and job performance questionnaire with 0.92 validity and 0.84
reliability were used. The collected data were analyzed by using Smart PLS 2. The results showed
that there is a relationship between competitive intelligence and risk-taking and the job
performance among the employees working in Kerman Saderat bank branches. Among the
components of competitive intelligence; a direct and significant relationship was found between
technical knowledge and strategic and social knowledge with job performance of the employees.
Among the risk taking components; the two components of credit risk, operational risk, and
market risk were significantly correlated with job performance of the employees. Therefore, it is
recommended that the bank managers have a correct and scientific management of the bank assets
and debts and they assess their own current and potential competitors to take step toward a better
performance of the employees in order to have growth and profitability in the banks and attract
financial resources.

The research paper title work from home: A study on wellbeing of employees during work from home during coronavirus pandemic. The main objective of the study is to know how the employee wellbeing is affected due to work from home. Especially in the IT industry the work life balance of the employees is affected badly. The descriptive research is used in this study as the research design and the sampling method is used as the convenience sampling. The size of the sample collected in this study is sixty (60) also the primary data is used. The statistical tools used in this study are frequency analysis, mean analysis and regression. Regression analysis is used to measure the wellbeing of the employees during COVID-19 pandemic. The components used to measure the impacts of work from home on employee wellbeing are work demands, home demands, work interfering with family, family interfering work and employee wellbeing. This analysis will be useful for the human resource managers to know the wellbeing of the employees during work from home.

Factors Affecting Smartphone Purchase Decisions of Generation-Y

Smartphones have become an indispensable part of daily life of GenerationY. Currently, Generation-Y accounts for the biggest proportion of the Malaysian population, and they are the main users of smartphones. The main objective of this research is to determine the factors influencing the smartphone purchase decisions of Generation-Y. Based on a literature review and survey, this study finds seven factors that influence smartphone purchase decisions: brand, convenience, dependency, price, social influence, product feature and social needs. The research used a questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale for data collection and a sample of 152 respondents (Generation-Y) from the Kuching region of Malaysia. We find evidence that social influence, product feature, and brand image have significant positive impacts on the smartphone purchasing decisions. Other factors, such as convenience, dependency, price and social needs were statistically insignificant.

Quality indicators and commodity of apple varieties

The article was informed about research results related to the commodity and quality
indicators to Azerbaijan introduced varieties of apples. The analysis carried out in the north-east
of the country- in the conditions of Guba, Gusar, Shabran regions on the cultivated apple varieties.
This time were analyzed in the following varieties:
- The sorts as Qala, Conaqored, Qrani Smit, Fuji, Simirenko reneti, Qolden Delişse x 972,
Conaqold growned on the grafted of the wild forest apple in the area 5x4 m in 2005 in the village
Timiryazev of the Quba region;
- The sorts as Conaqored, Golden Reinders, Grani Smith, Aydared, Red Vinter, Fuji growned on
the grafted of M-9 in the area 4x1,25m in 2008-2009 in the village Teni hayat of the region
Gusar;
- The sorts as Qala, Conaqored, Qrani Smit, Fuji, Simirenko reneti, Qolden Delişse x 972,
Conaqold growned on the grafted of M-9 in the area 5x3 in 2008-2009 in the village
Dashliyataq of the region Shabran.
The research was carried out on the generally accepted methods on basics of gardening. This
time,the average weight of the fruit was on the basis of the average weight of 100 fruit: many
large - weighing more than 175 g; large - weighing 175-126 g; average - mass 125-101q; small -
weighing 100-76 g; very small - weighing less than 76 grams.
The study chemical composition of apple varieties was carried out in the technology,
biochemistry and fruit processing laboratory of SRIFT. This time, basically has been identified
total and soluble dry substance, sugar, coloring ingredients, ascorbic acid. The soluble dry matter
by refractometric method, vitamin C with the help of Tilsman reagent, sugars according to
Bertrand, coloring items according to Leventhal and Neybayep has been identified .
It was determined that grafted onto the cultivated varieties wild apple woods product intended
for processing industry in comparison, in varieties grown on grafted clone more storage and for
use in case of fresh fruit. The analysis determined that Cır Hajı from local varieties indicators lag
behind a lot introduced new apple varieties despite the fact that dominating according to the
chemical composition the apple varieties introduced earlier.

Online banking is increasingly becoming popular because of convenience and flexibility. The present paper explores the major factors responsible for internet banking based on respondents’ perception on various internet  applications. It also provides a framework of the factors which are taken to assess the internet banking perception. The banking industry has been rapidly developing the use of  online banking as an efficient and viable tool to create customer value. It is one of the popular services offered by the traditional banks to provide speedier and reliable services to online users. With the rapid development of computer technology as a commercial tool, Internet banking can be used to attract more customers to perform banking transactions in related banks. However, the main problem of Internet banking faced by the providers is that a large number of the banks’ customers are not willing to use the Internet banking services offered. This happened due to the services offered through Internet banking have yet to satisfy their customers. Customer satisfaction is an important factor to help banks to sustain competitive advantages. This paper is titled as the customer perception towards Tesla electric cars innovative features. The objective of this particular research was to study the minds and thoughts that the customers had towards electric cars.
